Installation - Fire Systems
A badly installed fire safety system can be as much use as a chocolate fireguard.
Honestly. It may look the bee’s knees but if a system isn’t installed to the design specifications, and to the correct legislation, then people’s lives are at risk.
We may be sounding a little assertive here, but trust us, this is serious stuff.
We’ll make sure your fire system design is done to the relevant standards. We may even get it independently checked. It’s then down to our trusty team of engineers to install it correctly, to the design provided.
Fire Safety Accreditation
Whether it’s a fire alarm system, fire suppression system, fire extinguishers or emergency lighting, you really should choose a third party accredited fire system installer.
Triple Star Fire and Security are accredited by BAFE. BAFE is the independent registration body for third party certified fire protection companies across the UK. That may sound a mouthful so here’s what they actually do. They maintain a national independent register of quality fire safety service providers. Amongst other things, but that’s the bit that applies to us.
BAFE is completely independent. This means they are completely unbiased when registering companies as BAFE accredited.
How do BAFE award accreditation? They regularly audit us to ensure we’re trained in the relevant skills required to perform high quality fire system installations. They also check that we are installing systems to the appropriate standards and assess our competencies and management systems to ensure we deliver what we promise.
Fire System Installation
Our installation team are on the ball! They’ll be in touch throughout the whole process to make sure your fire safety system is installed correctly, and on time.
Once an installation date is agreed, our team will work to ensure all equipment required is in place and the installation engineer is fully briefed on the works to be completed.
We don’t just make sure our engineers are trained to the max in their field, we also give them extensive customer liaison training. They’re now quite a polite bunch! One thing you can be sure of is receiving the best customer service throughout your installation process.
Fire System Commissioning
Commissioning. This is what happens once your fire safety solution is installed.
What is commissioning? They’ll test it thoroughly for you to make sure it works as it should, and then issue any certification for compliance reasons. This is your proof that your fire system complies with current fire safety legislation.
You’ll then be shown how to fully operate the fire system. Don’t worry if you don’t remember everything, you can call us anytime. We’ll also make sure you know how to follow any procedures you need to ensure full fire safety system compliance.
